Sometimes a painting reveals its subject after the brushwork is complete. That is what happened with Yokahu.
After finishing this abstract piece, a face emerged from the paint, evoking Yokahu, the supreme deity of the Taíno people, god of the sea and giver of life. The result is a bold, spiritual work with an unexpected presence, a painting that invites a second look and leaves room for your own interpretation.
Bring Yokahu into a space that welcomes meaningful art, rich color, and a little mystery. Choose the vibrant Color palette or the more contemplative Monochrome edition.
